“Superb Meal - well worth a visit!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

Located on the edge of the fish market, the crisp white table clothes combine a classy setting with a feeling of authenticity and genuine fresh fish. A wide choice of fish is presented for choice before being cooked to your own taste. Service is efficient and the meal progresses at your pace.

“Consistently good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Bistro Rosa has the advantage of being based in St Helier's fish market. I have frequented this restaurant occasionally over the past few years and each time it is every bit as good as the last. The lemon sole is to die for, simply grilled in garlic butter, on the bone, absolutely gorgeous! I have also tried the lobster, monkfish and sea bass, all beautifully cooked but the lemon sole is the winner for me.

“A place to visit in St Helier”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

We have visited Bistro Rosa on previous visits to Jersey and it remains very good, the fish is brought to the table to show you what is available then served as you choose. I had lemon sole which was just perfect. We returned a few nights later and the chef and waiter were so welcoming. The turbot was excellent. This is simple dining that is a pleasure, no fuss just good food.

“Just had to go back”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

What a great experience, wonderfully cooked fresh fish , really good service in an authentic fish restaurant, we fortunately booked a table for a Saturday night and the place was full and buzzing.
The team moved around this small establishment with the smooth certainty of a well drilled brigade dispensing a variety of excellent dishes all to every ones delight. It was so good we had to return the next night , if you want great fish cooked with skill and flair with no pretension, this place delivers.

“Super seafood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

This is in the entrance to the fish market on Beresford Street. What a great place to site a fish restaurant. There are not many covers and it can be a challenge to book if its outside their opening times but worth the effort. They do offer meat dishes but really you are going there for the sea food. The sea food is wonderfully cooked - the best monk fish I have had. The dover sole was simply cooked and was perfect. Just go there and enjoy
