“Fish heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

We spent five days in Jersey and wanted to finish with a lobster meal. There was lobster on the menu everywhere we went but the reports were seriously mixed - over chilled, with a lack of flavour was the most common, so we thought the place to start had to be the Fish Market. We didn't expect to find a shack in the market, but were thrilled when we found it. The interior was smarter than we expected and there was the chance that we might just get stung here. The truth of the matter was the opposite. We were served by a delightful lady from Madiera, who recommended lobster Italian. My recommendation: go for it! This is simple but delicious and is served in a comfortably friendly atmosphere.
Recommended unreservedly.

“Perfect restaurant for seafood.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

Went here on Saturday evening with my partner after reading all the reviews on here. Am so pleased we went, was a perfect evening. Restaurant is very small and quaint, very typical of something you would find in small European cities. Service was friendly and helpful. We had prawns and scallops to start, both delicious. Then I had Seabass and my partner had the whole lobster which was amazing value. Food was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing, better than many expensive fish restaurants. Would highly recommend and will go back very soon.

“Superb value for money”

Although we had to wait half hour but it was worth for waiting. We had half lobster thermidor for £13.50, absolutely terrific.

“Brilliant Quaint Seafood Restsurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

We found this restaurant by luck tucked down a small street.

The lunch we ordered was fresh tasty and outstanding for seafood.

It's a brilliant jewel in St Helier.
So clean and perfectly run.

Well done you have a lovely restaurant.

“loved it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

We went to this restuarant because of the reviews on here.
We could not have been more impressed, it is just inside the fish market, and really does not look much, BUT the food was fantastic, I have never tasted sea bass like it.
The service was friendly and helpful, the cook we were told was the best fish chef in Jersey, and I believe that.
We were only in Jersey 4 nights, the first night we ate at the hotel, and were disapointed, the next night we ate here, then again ob out last night, if you love fish you must eat at Bistro Rosa.
