Interesting and spectacular light house - the shame is you can get near to the foot of the light-house but not right up. It would be most interesting to actually go in! The scenery is very pretty. You need to mind the tide as it can cut you off if you mis-time a visit.

There is a great view of the lighthouse as you appraoch it down the hill from the bus stop. Explore the WW2 German fortifications you will pass as you walk down the road. The lighthouse can be reached by means of a causeway at certain states of the tide but do take particular care if you visit on a rising tide as the tide comes in VERY rapidly. There is a warning siren but do not just rely on technology!!
When you leave here, rather than take the bus back why not turn left by the Highland Hotel towards 2 white pillars and walk to St. Aubins Harbour along the old railway track. A delightful 6 Km walk away from the traffic. A nice 75 to 90 minute stroll.

Situated on the south west tip of Jersey, this is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the view, coastal walks are nearby and in stormy conditions there are dramatic photo opportunities. There are a number of eating establishments nearby.

You ideally need good weather unless you are rugged and adventurous! Excellent if you want to escape from the more formal attractions.
