“A credit to the Volunteers.”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

Well after 9 visits in total to Jersey, we thought we'd found all the WW2 Batterys. We stumbled across this one accidently & were extremley surprised by the size of the Battery. When you walk around the site you can understand why it was an extremley valuable location to the Germans. The condition & preservation of the site is a credit to the hard work & dedication of the volunteers. Thank you for helping us, not old enough to live through those times, to understand & not to forget. We visited on a Thursday when there was no volunteers around.

“Noirmont point”

Three war places to visit in one and so much information available to bring back home to understand the conditions of the Islanders during the period of occupation.

“Worth a visit for anyone interested in mililtary history”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We try to visit all the bunkers when we come to Jersey but need to check the opening times as they're not open all of the time. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and if you want to join the Channel Islands Occupation Society, you will get free entry to all of these bunkers when they are open.

Very interesting to look at (and great views too). Not open when I visited but there are noticeboards which provide details.

“Very interesting (no pun intended)!”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

Went mid-week and so was not able to gain access inside the fortifications. Nevertheless, it was a very interesting hour spend and some nice scenic views for those not interested in WW2 stuff. Take the advice of other reviewers & check the opening times before going as it sounds like the entrance fee of £2.50 is a bargain.
