As a group of 9, we ordered a range of food including, pizza, steak and pasta dishes.
Every member of our group commented that their dish was tasty, well cooked and really good quality. It was all of a really high standard, and we considered it value for money because of this.
Portion sizes were quite generous, particularly so for the childrens' dishes. Not all of the children in our group managed to eat it all!
The deserts were to die for, but after the main meal not all of us had any room left to try one of them.
Upstairs there is a childrens' play area (climbing frames etc), for which there is a small but not unreasonable charge. The children in our group enjoyed this.
The only negative aspect was the constant cycling round the room by the waiting on staff. No sooner had you said that everything was fine, then two minutes later you were asked the question again by the next staff member. Perhaps this could be avoided by the staff conferring before the next staff member circled round the room. I suppose it's a good thing really.
