Good food served with very pleasant and unobtrusive attention in a restaurant with one of the most spectacular views over the bay....try it at sunset in summer!

“Great Views over the sea and Lighthouse”
Reviewed April 30, 2012

High quality restaurant with some good staff. Well worth a visit for the food and view.
Try the Portuguese style Espadas which are delicious. There is a wide choice on the wine list with a few special wines.
I have eaten there many times and have always been looked after well by the manager and staff.
The Sunday lunches are excellent with good quality portions of Roast Beef and Pork. There are also vegetarian options on the regular Menu.
Popular with family groups. Ask for a window table to take advantage of the great view.

“It's not too far to go to The Phare for stunning views”
Reviewed April 12, 2012

We walked across the causeway to the Lighthouse and sat enjoying the sunshine on the beach before going into the Phare for a few drinks. I asked to bring forward our reservation which was no problem. Our table couldn't have been better by the window directly looking at the lighthouse which was great as the sun set. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive but gave us time between courses so that we could nip out and get some great photos of the setting sun over the sea. The restaurant is child friendly. If you don't have a car the bus stops right outside and takes you back to St Hellier. So for 1.70 The Phare is definitely not too far for a nice meal out!

“Fantastic View”
Reviewed April 7, 2012

We cycles the Corbiere Railway route to St Aubin and then sunbathed before having dinner watching the sunset over the lighthouse (and the WW2 fortifications). Food was excellent and service was fast enough to be just right without being too speedy.

We were dining before taking the overnight ferry to the mainland. The ferry pasts the light house, so have a leisurely meal and when the ferry has past make your way to St Hellier it only takes 10 minutes!!
