Bels restaurant is an excellent dining experience. Go for Lunch or Dinner , couples or larger groups , family gatherings or romantic candlelight dinner for two. Menu's are constantly updated, new dishes being created and interesting fusions tried. Good wine list, reasonable prices and excellent service make this a place to visit again and again. Well done Jeff & Tara, keep up the good work, your restaurant is a credit to you .

We landed in Greystones after doing the Bray to Greystones coastal walk and were looking for somewhere to eat as had worked up a good appetite. The restaurant was one quarter full and the menu outside looked appealing. We ordered from the lunch menu, a crab salad and the smokie. What arrived on our table was a farce for the price being charged. Two tiny discs of bread served with the crab salad, a teaspoon of beetroot relish and three dots of horseradish sauce. We ended up going over to the Spar accross the road to get a sandwich after we were so hungry.
Service was slow and the decaf coffee I ordered never arrived. Very disappointing.

A group of us went here recently and everyone enjoyed it. The smokies are a must as a starter on your first visit and then you have to come back to try the rest. Pork belly a huge portion and beautifully cooked. The crab claw special was fabulous. The house wine, either red or white is great. Service was charming and efficient and all of us are looking forward to going again.

We walked into the restaurant last Sat. night at 8 o'clock. They were very busy but with a minimum of fuss we were given a table. Barbara had an excellent carrot and ginger soup to start and another starter of fishcakes as a main course. The very knowledgeable waitress assured her that there would be plenty of fish in them and this was indeed the case. We usually find fishcakes to be full of potato ( since when did potatoes have fins ? ) My starter of smokies came in a little pot with a delicious creamy sauce and accompanying salad. A main of battered cod, mushy peas and chips was very good although the second piece of fish underneath the top one was not quite up to par. Service was excellent and the bill was reasonable ---- what more could one want ?

On this nice sunny weekend, we decided to give a try to this restaurant... What a mistake !
The only positive point was the waiter who was nice.
The restaurant was quite dirty (floor, selling) and the food... just tasteless !
We had the ginger an carrot soup (no taste at all) and ordered some pasta with cherry tomatoes: it came as pasta too cooked with tomato puree directly from a can!
