My wife and i have just had a short break at this exellent hotel in a fantastic setting of a wooded valley with two lake's nearby.
The room was very clean and cosy, and the staff are first class and seem to work as a big family, all doing there bit to make our stay one of the best we have ever had. You have to try the food it's class! and the locals in the bar made us feel at home, look out for D J. We are planning to return later in the year.

Hotel is in a perfect location, bar serves good food. Very cosy breakfast room. Friendly staff. Clean room....Bad points, room standard below average, very small double room only suitable for one person. No bath, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities. Heating wasn't working. TV only had 2 channels despite saying they had satellite TV (not that you go to Glendalough to watch TV) I am sure the hotel must have better rooms.

I love Glendalough. It is one of the most magical places in all of Ireland. This hotel in the middle of the park is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and the food is delicious. We stayed at the hotel during a wedding(the hotel warned us it would be loud) but we didn't hear anyting all night long. I can't wait to return. While staying here you must walk on some of the trails-perfection

For the past three years, myself & my husband have gone to Glendalough Hotel for three nights for our Anniversary. Each time, the food has been wonderful, the staff very helpful and the general atmosphere of the hotel has made those trips memorable. The hotel is nestled around woods and lakes, there is plenty of walking and sightseeing to do and as we go in October, the huge crowds of tourists have gone and the area is generally quiet and peaceful. Just the ticket to recharge batteries.

The Glendalough Hotel is a very pleasant hotel, very well located in the center of town. The rooms were very adequate and the meals were excellent. Wicklow is a very scenic area with lots of history.
