Rockfield is an outstanding place to stay. Edna was such a gracious host and helped us arrange a guided tour of the Ballykissangel locations in town. She also recommended great places to eat while we were in the area. The home is fabulous - beautiful views, wonderful guest sitting room and spacious and clean rooms. The homemade croissants are delicious and such a wonderful treat!

Edna's home was amazing! The rooms had plenty of space and the bathrooms were huge. The location was perfect for driving into Avoca in just a few minutes. Edna was so welcoming and made a delicious breakfast. The best homemade croissants I have ever had! It was an overall wonderful place to stay.

I stayed in this guesthouse with my Mom and both of us thought it was first class. We were made feel so welcome by Edna, our room was beautiful with lots of lovely little touches you wouldn't expect in a B+B - especially the delicious slice of chocolate biscuit cake left in our room! The breakfast was very tasty and everything was so fresh and home made. The views from this guesthouse are stunning. It was also great value for money. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone staying in the Avoca area.

The guesthouse is situated in the most beautiful area with the most stunning views. Edna Crammond is the hostess and she does everything she can to make the stay the best it can be. From home made scones to free range eggs from the chickens on the local farm. For anyone looking to go on a relaxing break it was superb. I have come back year after year and you will find a couple of days will leave you wanting to come back.

The guesthouse has won many awards and you can see why as Edna has a wonderful b&b and everyone I know who has come wants to come again and again!!!

Room Tip: The entire house has been refurbished. Its like staying in a 5 star hotel

Stopped for one night only with my sister - but what a night. I thought I had found a new mother! Beautiful surroundings, Lovely home and kept beautifully. Edna's aim is to make sure you are ok! She is like a mother hen without the nagging! Great to relax in the lounge with a cup of tea and some of Edna's delicious "home baking". Down to the local pub for dinner and back to beds turned down and yet some more "home baking" to have with a cup of tea! Breakfast was a great start to the day! Would absolutely stay here again when in Ireland and would not hesitate to recommend others to stay in this home away from home.

Room Tip: All rooms fine!
