“A truly fabulous place to stay”
Reviewed November 19, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Maurice and Lucilla were amazing host's supplying an abundance of local information on walks, trips and things of interest.

The cottage was warm, homely and extremely well equipped. The view from the lounge windows is stunning. The setting is fabulous.

A truly remarkable place to stay.

A big thank you for an enjoyable weeks holiday, can't wait to come back next year.

Reviewed September 8, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Absolutely perfect - cottage - clean - tidy - everything needed was there, plenty of room
Luciella was very helpful and left us info about the area. Plenty of walks - stunning views - fortunately the weather was on our side - couldn't have found a better place or time to go - so relaxing, Easy to get to places to sightsee.Looking forward to revisit.

“Peaceful Place with amazing views”
Reviewed July 18, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

we needed rest and relaxation in beautiful surrounding and discovered "Dromore Cottage" overlooking the Blackwater River. we found a gem with views to die for.
Our Host Maurice was perfect in pointing out the sights and the cottages plus points, we were remote but did not want to leave - we loved the place and hope to return next year.
Thank you for the cottage and the great hospitality.
Dean and Felicity.

“Such a treasure in middle of wonderland!!”
Reviewed March 24, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

My father once told me that best thing you can give to people is memories. As they going to live in you forever...Lucilla and Maurice certainly can give you a good base for this with their superbly located and kept up to very high standard little beauty.
Its centraly located but so remote at this same time whitin short drive from all best spots likes Ardmore beaches and cliffs, Lismore Castle or hidden in the forest Ballysaggartmore Towers and Dromore Gate. Thats only few examples of incredible rich surroundings which you can discover yourself. Lucilla and Maurice are great hosts and they will make you feel like in home with no doubt. I can highly recomend this cottage for short or longer breaks. Saying that we would love to come back there for little longer and take to stream of life with different speed...slower;)

This cottage was a real find, hidden away from busy roads and large towns. It has stunning views over the beautiful river Blackwater to the hills and mountains beyond. You can enjoy the views while sitting in the cottage or walking along the quiet country roads. The cottage itself is spacious, clean and comfortably furnished. We will go back again.
