From Australia, we travelled throughout Europe and the UK and I must say, Caramore Lodge was one of the best places we stayed at. Not only is the house gorgeous with it's pretty gardens, but the hospitality we received from the owners was amazing. Upon leaving we had to print our airline boarding pass and Eileen went out of her way and far beyond, to help us when the computer didn't work. She never gave up and genuinely wanted to help us, making phone calls and eventually winning over the computer. She was truly helpful and flatly refused to accept any money for the paper, time and effort she put into printing our boarding passes. We can't say enough on how grateful we were. This, and the fact that the surrounding countryside, lake and nearby town were absolutely gorgeous made my memories of Ireland and it's wonderful people truly precious. Oh, and did I mention the breakfast was absolutely delicious.... thank you so very much Eileen, you are a lovely person. Mari and Wayne from Wollongong, Australia.

Anyone looking for a relaxing day or two away from the hussle and bussle of working life needs to visit this B&B.
This is my 3rd visit to Carramore lodge and am planning another trip there at the end of the month with the Mrs this time.
The B&B is in pristine condition which includes the gardens which are at this time of the year in full bloom.
The rooms the breakfast the whole package is worth a visit and a 5 minute dander into the town.

We were on a cycle tour of Ireland and were made very welcome at this excellent bed and breakfast.
Everything was ideal for our needs and a lot of thought had gone into providing comfortable accommodation.
The extra factor here for us was the amazing garden and we were lucky to have the guided tour by Paul who was responsible for it and was full of enthusiasm.
Breakfast the next day was brilliant.
A highly recommended place to stay.

Good B&B, very clean and the owners are extremely friendly and really go out of their way to be helpful. Very happy giving them our business. Very good breakfast too. About a 10 min walk to Killaloe town centre, the immaculate building is set in large grounds with very well looked after garden and plenty parking space.

On my motor bike runs round Ireland I discovered yet another top quality B&B, Ultra clean and tidy, the rooms are top notch, very comfortable beds, the breakfasts are fantastic and plenty of it. Peaceful and quiet the house its self is set in beautiful high maintained gardens. plenty of parking very safe for motorbikes with being set well back of the main rd and bikes can be tucked away round the rear of the building. 5 to 7 mins walk into the town and views to die for, the local pubs one of which is called (Goosers ) do excellent grub and the view when sitting out side are spectacular. The small bridge links Ballina to Killaloe and it is a very enjoyable walk in and out to the town. Also visit Mollies pub on a sunday ngt 6 to 8 for the live music. I have been back again and hope to return in 2012, I also have recommended it to other folk by word of mouth and on their return they agreed it was a top quality B&B more hotel than B&B standard. Anyone who has read any of my trip advisor tips will know I am wild fussy and the Carramore lodge ticks all of the boxes and more. thank you Eileen

Room Tip: all rooms are top quality
