The sign outside the door says "Food served All Day" , but apparently not after 9pm, and not at all on a Tuesday.

“One of the best...”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

Recently spent a few days in Mullaghmore.. and decided to travel the short distance to Grange to try the food at Lang's Bar and Restaurant. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are very well kept and look fantastic. The atmosphere inside is cosy and relaxed with wooden floors, brick arched ceilings and little candles on the tables. The inside of the restaurnat is quite big so I imagine they would have no difficulty in dealing with large groups. Our waitress was friendly and we were shown to a free table right away...

The starters we tried were the home made chicken goujons and mexican potatoes.. both very well presented and equally as tasty! The garlic sauce with the goujons was fantastic! For the main i had the local sausages and bacon potatoe mash (yes fried bacon chopped through the mash!..mmm) which was served in a fantastic thick gravy on a bed of fried onions. While 'she' had the salmon.. whoich was served with potatoes..also a tasty hit! The desert menu looked great but unfortunately given the very generous main courses we decided to leave this for another visit (Baileys Sundae with choc and vanilla icecream abd toasted almonds sounded nice!!!) I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.. or just visiting)

“Good food and a nice atmosphere”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

My brother and I ate here yesterday, it was a really great lunch, good staff and nice old fashioned wooden decor inside.. Everything was tasty and well presented.
Popular with both locals and tourists, the nearby table had a very pleasant group who had just been horseriding..

The only thing that could do with changing is the colour of the building outside, it's a strange shade of green, but I expect that makes it easy to find!
