Family break for 4 sisters & 2 sister in laws we could not have wished for more. The cottage is beautifully kept and you literally feel as if you've arrived into a very much loved home with all the comforts of a small boutique hotel. Kettle boiled, packet of biscuits just what you need after a long drive. The house is extremely spacious with a double and single bed in each room and all en-suites tastefully tiled and spotless. I've been in the Hotel business for 30 years in London and could not find fault(that's unusual for me). We met John on arrival and departure and he checked to see if we needed anything during our stay. The pictures are good but don't do this beautiful place justice, at the end of the back garden there's a footpath meandering through fields full of sheep right onto the beach . Wake up in the morning with views from your bed of the mist on Benbulben mountain and believe me you'll be planning your next visit to this tranquil haven, you'll be hard pushed to find somewhere so perfect.
We rented the 3 bed cottage and it was excellent. The host John had a friendly welcome for us, he had the heat on when we arrived and enough supplies to have a cup of tea and a slice of cake, a nice touch on arrival. The house was extremely clean and beds were very comfortable, most felt new. The house is in a nice quiet area but still within 3 mins of the village. Spectacular views from the upstairs bedroom. John was a great host and made us feel right at home. Will definitely return!
We had a wonderful time in beautiful Sligo and Beezies Cottage was the perfect base. There is so much to see and do and all under the shadow of the Magnificent Ben Bulbin mountain. Our host, John, was so lovely and helpful. This has been the best holiday accommodation we have ever had in Ireland.
My cousin and I stayed in the 2-bedroom cottage for 4 nights. The location (outside Grange) was great as a base for exploring county Sligo, and it was lovely to come back in the evenings, cook dinner, and enjoy the quiet while we planned the next day. You see Benbulben in one direction, the bay in the other. John is a wonderful host. All in all, it was a terrific place for a holiday, and I hope we'll stay again. I can't recommend it highly enough!
Found this amazing self-catering rental, just 300m from Lislary Beach (near Streedagh) and 3 miles from local village of Grange where there is an excellent award-winning restaurant & pub, & SuperValu for all your groceries.
From the property, you can see majestic Benbulben mountain. Both the 2 & 3 bedroom cottages offer luxury accommodation, private garden, BBQ area and patio for you to chill and relax.
There is so much to do - kids went horseriding at local Island View Riding Stables, had a go at surfing and the owner has just built a private walkway exclusively for Beezies guests that brings you both to the beach or to historic Staid Abbey.
Bedrooms are all large with ensuites. There is DVD and TV and highly modern kitchen. Will be returning!!!
