“Family stay - present”

We stayed here in in September using a gift voucher that was given to us. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff very helpful. We ate at the bar the first night and they were very accommodating for our 9 month old daughter. The swimming pool area was spotless. The food in the restaurant was one of the loveliest meals we had. Overall a fantastic stay. Thank you!

Room Tip: We found our room slightly on the small side for trying to fit in a travel cot also. If there are la...

Where to start! :) This hotel is absolutely fabulous. Myself and my husband had our wedding reception here last year. From start to finish, we were treated to the most wonderful day of our lives. The staff in this hotel are second to none. Initially we dealt with Denise, the wedding co-ordinator. Denise took all the stress of planning a wedding away from us & looked after almost everything, guiding us on the whole wedding & not just the reception. She went over & beyond her remit & we couldn't thank her enough.
On the day itself, we were looked after by Agne, another wonderful asset to this hotel. The reception room was amazing & breathtaking. Even though we were running late, we were never made feel rushed by anyone. There was also a girl called Aisling looking after the reception & she was amazing as were all the staff. I even had a serious wardrobe malfunction & had a tear in my dress & this lady sewed it during the soup course!!!!! :)
Joe Shannon & his staff provided a fabulous menu & there was more than enough for all the guests who were all checked on to see if they would like extras, not to mention having quite a few coeliacs who were all catered for with just the same attention & detail as every other guest. The food was absolutely beautiful.
While we were bowled over by the attention to detail & care the whole day was given, it was our guests we were concerned about & we have heard nothing but wonderful reviews about the whole day. We would have no concerns about recommending this hotel to couples looking for that perfect location for their big day or people who wish to escape for a weekend to a fab hotel in the west. As we are both in the hospitality industry, we are delighted to have availed of a hotel whose dedication to customer service was unbelievable & also a rarity in this tough climate. So thank you to all for the most wonderful & memorable day! Highly recommended!!!

We were staying in a midweek deal which was very good value, food good, staff very attentive just the bed let the whole thng down. We had a double bed which was two singles merged - the problem was that the bed didnt have a fitted sheet, just a sheet that went over it. No matter how much we tried to fix it in the morning we always ended sleeping on the mattress which wasnt that nice.

We were welcomed to the hotel by the lovely Emer who is a true professional - such a lovely smile and very friendly. We arrived a little earlier than check in and she did everything she could to ensure our comfort - she is a true asset to the front of house.

We ate in the amazing restaurant - the food was delicious and the service was very good - even though the restaurant was very busy the servers were able to ensure all our needs were met, with a smile and nothing was too much bother.

We stayed in a business class room, which was lovely, no complaints at all apart from the fact that we could hear the neighbouring room's shower very clearly and it was quite unpleasant when trying to get to sleep and then the loud shower started in the morning again, may just be this one room, so don't let this comment put you off.

I have left the best to last...the Thermal Suite. WOW! I LOVED IT! Absolutely amazing. The relaxation room was beautiful - the spa is honestly 5 star quality. Loved the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Thank you very much for such a lovely stay xx

There is nothing fundementally wrong with the Radisson, but there is also nothing outstanding. It serves a purpose, nothing more nothing less. Rooms are being to look tired and are due an overhaul.

Meals were just okay, breakfast buffet unimaginative, scrambled eggs lacked seasoning and there is limited choice. We had dinner one evening, and felt the whole experience was rushed. We were finished dining within the hour, not very relaxing!

I have no complaints, but I have enjoyed breaks in other Irish hotels of a similar standard, much more.

My partner and I stayed at the Radisson Blu in Sligo in February for His Birthday. I bought this through the site groupon for a reasonable price and I am delighted to say I was not treated any differently because of it. The rooms were spacious and modern apart from the Television which was quite old and dated. Apart from that I have no further complaints. My partner and I were very happy during our stay. The leisure facilities are good however bring your own swimming cap because they charge 3 euro each. The food in the Classiebawn restaurant was over priced and too fancy for our liking so we ate in the Benwiskin Bar which was faultless. Absolutely Beautiful food and really good service. the rooms were a lovely temperature because you can control the air con and the bathroom is lovely too. which a good size bath that can fit two people comfortably. The breakfast was good too. good selections of hot and cold foods. Very close to Sligo centre and fantastic views. I would stay at this hotel again. We were both Very happy.

We stayed overnight in The Raddisson Blu Sligo last weekend. Our first impression was of a very helpful and chatty receptionist. The bedroom was very airy and relaxing. We ate in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. Breakfast was plentiful.

Room Tip: The hotel is built on an incline therefore the views are good all round. I would suggest visiting Ro...
