“Great food and nice location ”
Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

Stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. The chips were beautiful and crisp. A nice atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. €46 for three mains and one kids meal and three coffee's. I believe it was good value for the quality of the food. The very shop is also nice with a good variety of fresh produce. Well worth a visit.

“Great family restaurant”

We live nearby and it's a lovely spot for lunch with the kids. Good quality food and relaxed but comfortable atmosphere.

“Not keen in eating chicken while I can see other chicken flapping their wings around”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

The food is quite alright, nothing amazing. No Vegan food on menu. The owner is a lovely man and the staff are pleasant enough. I worry about health and safety with restaurants surrounded by animals roaming around the place(outdoors obviously, apart from a dog that managed his way inside the restaurant).

“Good initially”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

When restaurant first opened I would go with friends once or twice a week. Standards have slipped a little in recent times. Menu doesn't vary much. Food is tasty but , expensive and portions are small. If you go in a party it works out quite expensive when you add the teas, coffees and particularly soft drinks for the children. It might be an idea for them to supply a jug of mi wadi drink for children or at least have clients pay for the first tea/coffee/mineral and top ups are free. There is better value to be had in the area. There is an outside where children can see ducks and donkeys etc. Also a Farm shop where you can purchase fresh produce. The restaurant use their own farm produce and that is what makes the food taste good.

“Good Food in pleasant surroundings”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

Had lunch here recently and can highly recommend the restaurant. Menu offers a good range of choices. The soup of the day was excellent We had the Fish Pie which was delicious and the beef burger with chips was very tasty.
After lunch we paid a visit to the Farm Shop opposite the restaurant and purchased a dozen free range eggs I enjoyed 2 for breakfast the next day.
The Donkey Shed is well worth a visit and we shall certainly be back.
