“Great house, great host!!!”
Reviewed July 31, 2018 for a stay in July 2018

we had a wonderfull time in the lovely cottage of Victor. He is a perfect host and the property is easy to find with directions from Victor. Town of Craiguenamaragh of nearby and has everything you need. I would recomment this to everyone who enjoys a quiet location (you need a car). our two kids (3,5) had a wonderfull time, specially the enchanted forest on Victor's property.

I and my German shepherd dog arrived and were welcomed by Victor. The stove lighting and a lovely hamper of homemade bread and scones on the kit hen table. The cottage was so warm, homely and so cosy, catering for all my needs. The forest walks were absolutely beautiful and so peaceful.,From the old oak tree to the sound of the waterfall, and just to be able to sit in absolute peace and serenity was heavenly. It was unspoilt and so relaxing.I felt refreshed and relaxed,I should have stayed longer!...The place is a credit to victor, its well worth a visit.surrounded by nature ...bliss... Thank you Victor...

“One of the best hosts and accommodation / location EVER!!”

Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Victor himself but he had made arrangements to be shown round on arrival with the lovely Valerie. Before this Victor gave us precise instructions how to get to the barn and it worked out very well. The location is near to a town with a few good pubs (M Doyles recommended) and a well stocked Supervalu grocery shop. I went for a days horse-racing at Gowran Park which is only 20 minutes away from the barn and is the most scenic racecourse in Ireland - I even managed to back a couple of winners! For those who want to get away from the rat race highly recommended (No TV but limited internet access).
