This was by far the best place we've ever stayed on a vacation. Where to start? Beautiful location overlooking Ventry Bay with the beach, the open ocean, and the hills of the Dingle Peninsula all in easy view. Mary cooks up a great breakfast that's tailored to what you want, has numerous local guidebooks full of things to do, as well as great recommendations for local music and pub food. Plus, there are several common room areas to enjoy -- helpful when the rain comes in for sure. The only drawback is that you really need a car to get here but we'll definitely be back!

close to dingle, short drive away. go to murphy's ice cream and try the unusual, but tasty flavors that they offer. st jame's church has traditional music during the week. it was a nice evening, for those who don't want to hang out in a pub until late.

Room Tip: pre book and ask for a front room

Ceann Trá Heights was recommended to my group by our previous hostess, and what a great recommendation. Mary was a thoughtful hostess who met us with tea and homemade desserts upon our arrival. The rooms were spacious and clean with great views of the seashore. The sitting room and reading room also have beautiful views and are very comfortable to relax in. Ceann Traá Heights is a great location for touring Dingle Peninsula. The town of Dingle, a lovely place with great shopping and places to eat is not a far drive. I also recommend driving towards Slea Head and playing on the beach.

Room Tip: Call ahead to make reservations

Cozy home with gorgeous water views and delicious breakfasts. The location was terrific because it was close to Dingle but far enough away for peace and quiet. It was a short trip to some of the most fabulous scenery in Ireland. Mary gave lots of tips on sights to see and things to do. She and her friends put on a tasty spread for breakfast.

We stayed six nights at Ceann Tra Heights and couldn't have been more comfortable. Good bed, excellent food, heavenly view. Mary Carroll combines friendliness with efficiency, and she kept on giving us little extra titbits because we were vegetarian. She and her husband were helpful when needed, but when we said we knew the area already they left us to get on with it, but were happy to hear our tales of adventure when we got back. Everything sparkling clean, and if we needed anything they were ready and available. Highly recommended.
