“Irish Gem”

We decided on Gorman's on the Dingle Peninsular after reading the reviews on Tripadviser - and as always, based on previous guests comments, our decision was vindicated! This beautiful B&B is situated in a relatively remote part of the pensinsular and the scenery is stunning, particularly on a sunny day!
The rooms are very large and spotlessly clean, the staff are exceptional, and they even supply a laundry service, something that travellers who are away for an extended time, very rarely come across, except in hotels! We ate in both nights and the meals were excellent, as was the service!
Early morning walks were an envigorating way to start the day and return to a typically Irish breakfast with enough choice - healthy or otherwise, for the big brekkie enthusiasts!
The Dingle Peninsular has some very interesting history and a couple of hours can easily be spent visting the sites. Dingle itself, is about 15-20 minutes drive and well worth a walk around.
One of the most memorable parts of our recent trip were the B&B's we stayed in along the west coast of Ireland - Gorman's is "top shelf" and just the place if you want a very relaxing and peaceful stay - do yourself a favour and include it on your trip if you are in the area! Very highly recommended!

There's no werds to describe this place. The charm, the peace, the view, the people, the owner, the food, the local beer... Probably the best place around here.
It's a little difficult to find, so use a GPS.

Amazing.

What a marvelous B&B!!
Around Gorman's Clifftop ther is only nature! But it is enough. I really enjoyed that.
I borrowed a bicycle and looked around a part of the Dingle. It was enjoyable and exciting.
Every rooms are suites.
I had a dinner. It was really nice! Breakfast was also good!
And for a breakfast when I left there, they gave me a light breakfast meal. But it was really nice.
I felt their hospitality.

Relaxing stay with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We were lucky with sunny and calm weather but the bay would be even more dramatic if the was blowing. We visited some of the ancient sites of interest and walked along the cliff tops. We fully intend to repeat our stay in the not too distant future.

Fabulous B&B! This place is worth a special trip for a number of reasons. The Dingle Penninsula is one of the most beautiful spots on earth! The folks at Gorman's Clifftop are very warm and hospitable. The inn is in a gorgeous setting and the property is clean and comfortable. Nice, large rooms with all the amenities of a large hotel. The food in the dining room is extraordinary ... the dining experience is worth the trip on it's own merit! The package that includes dinner and breakfast is a very good value and I recommend booking the package. You'll love Gorman's!

Its location is beautiful with fantastic views all round, either the sea or the hills of the dingle peninsula. Our room was big with both a bath and a shower and very comfortable. We decided to eat in as we did not want to drive anywhere for dinner and the food and service was excellent however on the expensive side. Sile, our host, interacted with all the guests and took time to chat if that was what was wished. The breakfast was great and all the breads are home-made and the food locally sourced where possible. There is a library with lots of interesting books for browsing away the hours and a large selection of games for a rainy day... we luckily had lots of sunshine. There is also a large communal area just inside the from door with comfortable sofas. The road in front of the house is very quiet so a stroll down the road is perfectly safe. There are also beautiful cliff walks just metres away.

The small things like tea being offered on arrival, damp shoes been taken to dry by the boiler and butter served on a plate rather than in a foil package are some of the things which make this place stand out. Definitely worth the trip.

Room Tip: If you want a sea view you will need to pay more.

We stopped here on a family vacation, arriving in the early hours (4:30 am!) due to car troubles. So next morning we rose quite late, expecting to have to hunt around town for food. But Sile was gracious, brought us coffee and delicious breads in the sitting room. It was the start of a great stay. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and charming. Bathrooms were especially fine. The views were breathtakingly beautiful with a path along the cliffs and sea just steps away to hike on. We decided on dinner here and had a wonderful meal - every member of our family raved about their dishes. The freshest fish and seafood. A pub close by offered wonderful music and a convivial atmosphere! We left reluctantly feeling that our stay on the Dingle Peninsula exceeded our expectations. Cannot recommend this B & B more highly!
