We had sensational sunny ,hot weather so enjoyed sitting in the garden, on the decking and on the little jetty between garden and beach. The setting is so peaceful , surrounded by dramatic mountains with the ever changing estuary in front of you. We enjoyed Brandon pier with it's bar and little harbour and walks locally to a lough. The mobile home was comfortable and homely and was a great base for exploring the Dingle peninsula and Ring of Kerry. We didn't want to leave.
We really enjoyed the privacy and scenic setting of this bolthole on the Dingle Peninsula. Though you need a car, the driving isn't extensive, as you're a short drive away from all highlights... Brandon Point, Connor Pass, Dingle, Slea Head Drive, Annascaul. The beaches are stunning, including the beach right at the gate of the mobile home! The mobile itself was clean, comfortable, pet friendly which made the holiday for us. Geraldine (owner) and Jackie (local contact) were only a phone call or friendly text away, should we have needed anything at all, and the information both emailed and left in folders in the mobile home were really useful. Highly recommended.
The mobile home is located at the edge of the sands - making it a perfect base for beach activities.
The setting is idyllic. Better than the photos. Steps from the beach with stunning mountain views, this location is worlds from bustling Dingle. The home is functional and comfortable; not fancy. We appreciated the laundry and great communication from the owner. For the price, it's hard to beat.
I loved the location of this mobile home, right next to a long quiet beach perfect for walks for energetic dogs. We had a great time here. My daughter loved going for walks in the morning and evening. The mobile home was spacious for the four of us, clean and well stocked with games and dvds to keep us entertained at night. Immediate responses from Geraldine when we needed to get in touch to find our way. Thanks Geraldine.
Exactly as described, peaceful beachfront cottage. Very spacious with everything available for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Getaldine is a very generous hostess with plenty of whatever you might need available (unlike some places we've stayed with 2 cms of handwashing detergent and half a roll of toilet paper).
Can be a bit hard to find so make sure you carefully follow the directions.
The surrounding area is just breath-taking and we would loved to spend much longer exploring and returning to this wonderful cottage.
The washing machine and carport for drying was a real bonus.
If you are relying on the internet as we were, just check it is working as we didn't manage to get a connection during our stay. Geraldine worked really hard to help us but it is in a difficult area.
Apart from the wifi problem, I'd definitely score it as 10 out of 10.
