Visited the Pier head last weekend and had the evening special , whole lobster no less. It was well presented, tasted great and was well washed down with a bottle of bubbles. Keep up the good work

We had the privilege of being at the Pier Head Restaurant on July 14th to listen to a session performed by this talented bunch of musicians and then have dinner afterwards in the Restaurnat. It was definitely the most memorable and fun afternoon of our entire trip. We arrived in Ireland from Canada for two weeks starting July 4th and travelled extensively throughout the country listening to many bands in pubs and restaurants but this group was by far he best and most enjoyable music of the trip..well done guys..the Pier Head should make you their regular in house band!! Here's hoping to see you and hear you perform in Goderich Ontario very soon:) Regards Finola and Paul MacGinty xxx

“Good food, at an excellent location”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

Service was very good and quick. The food was very good, portions maybe a little small. Only issue I would have was one of waitress was very sharp - too nasty for a restaurant (not sure nationality -non Irish).

“Best atmosphere ever!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

What a great day yesterday at Pier Head, kinvara! We sat outside in the sunshine with very cool beers and enjoyed the entertainment in form of fab singer Carmel Demspey & her troupe! The wonderful Brenda on fiddle was amazing. Mike sang beautiful Christie Hennessy number & Mickey banged those drums so well! We've never had such a fantastic array of talent around us. Various local and visiting people sang and kept the spirits up! We headed upstairs after the music ended and were served up the very best of Irish food there is! Fab fish and Mighty meat dishes kept us all in great form! So sad to have to head home! Please please make this a stop for you if heading West. & hopefully Carmel & her troupe will be still there singing their hearts out! Well done Pier Head!!!
