“Great Welcome with great food”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

We checked into the Kinvara Guesthouse which is akin to a boutique hotel and across the road is Keogh's. We were warmly greeted by Mary, who recommended the Monkfish special and the Angus Burger. We finished with the Strawberry and Lime cheesecake and an Irish Coffee. Kinvara was without doubt our favourite stop on our trip to Ireland for both the accommodation the welcome and the food.

“Excellent food and gluten free options!”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

We luckily happened to stop at this restaurant during our trip to Ireland and I couldn't have been happier! They had a great selection of food. They also have several gluten free options, including gluten free bread and gluten free chips/French fries (regular chips, but fried in a dedicated fryer so there is no cross-contamination with any gluten, shellfish, etc., so they have the normal great taste, but are safe for people with various allergies). There was wi-fi and friendly service as well as an outdoor seating area ("beer garden").

“Outstanding Chowder”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

We had the best Chowder and Burgers. To top off our Sunday evening staff recommended Connollys Bar for Irish Music. All in all a great day out in Kinvara. One little observation to Keogh's management your young waitress needs training on people skills other that than you have it spot on.

“Friendly service, generous portions of excellent food competitively priced.”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

The dining area had a nice ambiance with lighted candles on tables. The Early Bird menu (served from 5 - 7pm) represented very good value. The portions were generous and the taste 'out of this world.'
Very friendly and helpful staff complemented the culinary experience.
