Not a bad stay. The room had been recently renovated and had all the necessary furniture, but had nothing in the way of decoration or "charm." This was fine, however, because we only stayed one night and the price was good. Room was huge. If I were to find myself in Kinvara again (unlikely, we really didn't care for the town), I'd stay here, or recommend others to.

This is clearly newly renovated and they did a good job with it. There is quality wood everywhere, the corridors are wide enough to get around with suitcases, and our
family room (3 single beds) was a generous size. Not as intimate as a traditional B&B,
but the owner is around to see if all is OK. There breakfast was good, there is food to
be have at Keogh's pub across the street, and I would be happy to recommend this place
to anyone.

We spent two nights in a large family.

The room was excellant. We loved the balcony that folded out from the window.
The breakfast was good and quick.
The manager was there everymorning to ask if all was ok

I stayed here this weekend with a group of girlfriends and we ALL enjoyed it so much - the quality of this B&B is superb - Better than A LOT of hotels I have stayed in!!! Excellent Value for money; Very friendly staff; Lovely clean, spacious rooms; Great Breakfast - what more would you want?? Kinvara is a very charming village and I would recommend Pierhead for dinner. Excellent weekend - thanks to everyone in Kinvara! We'll definitely be back!!

This is really a small hotel (as opposed to a B&B), especially following its recent enlargement; so those looking for a typical B&B scene in a home-like setting may be disappointed - the atmosphere here is somewhat impersonal, the front desk usually unstaffed, and a buzzer is required to find someone to talk to. But I was entirely satisfied; hotel is well-situated in the center of a picturesque seaside village with easy parking in front or around the back; the rooms modern, spacious, and clean, and with an ample breakfast included in the room price. I would also recommend the dinner deal offered by the hotel at the nearby (and very good) Pier Head Restaurant - at 20 Euro per person, it's very good value.
