We wanted a complete'get awayf rom it all' break and picked Errisberg Lodge from the internet following reading the reviews and looking at the location on line. We were not disappointed, Shirley and Jackie gave us a good Irish welcome, and knew the area really well, giving helpful suggestions and local advice. The view from our window, (at the back of the house) was the mountain behind the house - really beautiful. We walked miles, visited some incredible places in Connemara, watched pheasants and hares, and ate in Roundstone, in O'Dowds a couple of times, (highly recommended). Gurteen Bay was incredible, and truly close to the B & B (although not on the beach itself) - if the weather was better, you could be forgiven for believing yourself to be in a South Sea island lagoon, with the white sands and millpond sea! Beautiful area, which we will definitely visit again.
