We stayed at Sea Breeze in the that amazing site of Connemara - West Ireland by accident just because the hotel I was looking for was closed during weekdays. What a lucky we were! - Norren and Michael have a very well furnished and confortable B&B facing the sea. It is fantastic to wake up in that site and have a wonderful "full Irish" breakfast looking the sea. Thank you Noreen we had a 5 star experience at your B&B. Manoel end Gisela from São Paulo, Brazil.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room.

We recently stayed at the Seabreeze B&B, stopping over as we were attending a family wedding. On arrival we met Noreen who is very welcoming. We had booked a triple room as my mum was travelling with us. We were delighted to be shown to the loft room, on a floor by itself with stunning 180 views of the shoreline. The room was huge!! And we really spread ourselves out- getting dolled up for a wedding you can imagine requires lots of prep so the two mirrors and dressing table were a godsend, being 7 months pregnant I was able to sit down and enjoy the process ;)

I am a big fan of all things clean and spotless and Seabreeze does not disappoint. The linen had that lovely fresh fabric softener smell and just taken in from the washing line feel. Crisp and clean. We all slept very well, considering there were three of us in the room- it was one of the best nights rest I've had in a long time!

Breakfast here is a real treat- you are made to feel a part of the family in the breakfast room overlooking the sea view. Michael and Noreen crank out such a lovely full Irish- its hard not to leave the plate clean! Fresh produce grown by Noreen and Michael is added to the mix-a lovely personal touch and a testament to how much this hospitable couple want you to enjoy a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day.

We moved on from Seabreeze to the Galway bay hotel the following night and although also a fabulous establishment- I couldn't help feel a little disappointed that we weren't back at Seabreeze again. Hopefully we will be able to visit again in the not too distant future.

Thanks to Noreen and Michael for making our stay so lovely.

Room Tip: Even if you are only two- ask for room 6 which is on a floor by itself and has amazing views :)

We stayed here for one night on a tour of Ireland - I so wish we could have stayed longer. The location is just amazing with the sea at the bottom of the garden and a wonderful view. We had a wonderful large room with a view of the sea and all amenities. There was a lovely lounge with a sun room which we could use with complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits available - a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset. The breakfast was brilliant and Michael (the owner) and his daughter were just lovely. Although down a narrow lane it is not far into the nearest town with a few lovely pubs. I cannot recommend this place highly enough - I agree with a lot of the other reviewers that it is probably the best B&B I have ever stayed in and I would dearly love to go back one day.

Room Tip: The room with the sea view was lovely.

The Sea Breeze B&B is ideal for both relaxation and seeing the sights in the Connemara area of Ireland (Northwest of Galway). Very clean, good breakfast, hot water, beautiful view (ask for ocean view room), small beach in walking distance, gorgeous sunroom and great views from breakfast room - overall an excellent value for money. The friendly, helpful, informative hosts provided travel tips for our sightseeing adventures. Whether it is climbing Diamond Hill in Connemara National Park, finding a sandy beach for a stroll, driving the cliffside roads, or walking in the bogs, the area has it all. And the Paddy Coynes Pub and Maol Reidh Hotel in nearby Tullycross served the most delicious food of our entire trip in Ireland. (One word of caution - the roads are narrow in this area.) We strongly recommend the area and the B&B!

Room Tip: Rooms with ocean view and private bath are fantastic

Mum and I stayed in the brand new self catering apartment. It is well equipped with full size cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, electric jug and microwave, even with some complimentary tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Small but perfectly formed for 2 people. Beautiful views over the sea from your own patio/window, viewed from leather recliners with a foot stool each no less!!
Sit outside in your own swing seat to see a different angle of the view, one you never tire of I assure you. This area of Connemara must be the most beautiful in all of Ireland, I had my camera at the ready around every corner, even the hedgerows are glorious from July to September.
Although we were self catering, Noreen was more than happy to fit us in with all the other B&B customers for a generous cooked breakfast with fab Irish Soda bread on the menu. What more can I say, just book a flight to Knock and go!!
