Best place (quality/hospitality/price) we stayed during our 10 days trip around Ireland. Caitlin did her best to set warm and hospitable atmosphere. Rooms were cute and really big, comparing other B&B. Place is amazing... the end of the world, small wonderful peninsula, far from everything... You can really enjoy peaceful Irish coastal village with no turist rush, etc. It is not that far from Connemara NP (30 min. by car – good place to set for a trips)... enjoy!

Room Tip: if possible - take the family room :) the biggest one with 5 beds (we only paid for 2) ... it was really amazing...we could have danced there...that big it was...

The weather was not at her best raini and blowing. But inside a very nice place, bedroom with a fantatic view over beach, fields, animal and the Atlantic. Breakfast "The full Irish" very tastfull and again with at beatiful view over the island from my breakfastchair.

Caitlin's warm presence infuses her lovely home, making this a relaxing and cosy place to stay. She greets guests with refreshments and takes the time to talk and get to know you. The rooms look out onto the sparse but dramatic and beautiful scenery of Mweenish Island, connected by road to Carna. Five minutes walk down a country lane, you will find a secluded white sand beach with beautiful Connemara backdrops behind. Her Irish breakfasts are delicious, plentiful and freshly cooked. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We brought our small dog, who was made very welcome. While more remote than some areas of Connemara, this b&b, in the heart of the Gaeltacht, won't disappoint and guests will remember Caitlin's warm hospitality for a long time.

I have recently returned from a 3 night stay here. My South African friend and I really enjoyed our time in Connemara and our stay with Caitlin in particular. We loved the room with its beautiful decor, peaceful ambience and its views of the islands .Caitlin is a great hostess and everything in her home is spotless. The breakfasts set you up for the day and you are sure of a welcome back in the evening. Atlantic Wave is a great place to base yourself for a holiday in Connemara.

Caitlin was friendliness personified and made us very welcome in her lovely home. Clean, comfortable and with a breakfast to last the day, I can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Great value for money and with side-splitting entertainment form her dog, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
