My second time visiting this restaurant and it was outstanding on both occasions. The hospitality, service, the views and quality of the food are all exceptional. Marie-Therese and Ruari deserve lots of success with this business. Well worth the price.

Inis Meain in itself is a magical place, but experiencing the island as a guest in this place is a treat for very special occasions.
The Restaurant and Suites look like they grew out of the landscape and are so lovingly appointed and with that magnificent view, you find it hard to leave the room.
Marie-Theres and Ruari are amazing hosts, with a relaxed, personal and very friendly service, and the food in the restaurant is to die for, most of the ingredients sourced from the island.
This is every bit worth the rates and a huge recommendation to anyone who is looking to blend peace and tranquility with one of the best hotel experiences in Ireland.

I don't have anything much further to add to the already excellent reviews already given. It is a fantastic experience - a really once in a lifetime place to visit. The owners have done a wonderful job and made this one of the unique places to stay in the world. The simplicity and excellence of the restaurant also has to be highlighted. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a break from the norm but looking for a five star standard.

Inis Meáin Restaurants and Suites is a gorgeous hideaway in the peace and tranquility of this ancient island. Everything is understated in a ‘less is more’ approach but the attention to detail and subtle touches of class and elegance are to be found everywhere. Everything is of the highest quality and the suite feels very luxurious to laze around in. The clever architecture of the building means you are spoilt with panoramic views of the east of the Island, Connemara and Galway Bay which are different every time you look due to the ever changing weather!

The food in the restaurant is mouth-wateringly delicious and some of the best food I have tasted for some time. The complimentary lunches (hearty vegetarian soups in thermos flasks) were extremely tasty too and very handy to have when out on a walk, as were the breakfasts that are delivered to your door every day (mmm those chocolate pots!).

Most importantly I should mention that the owners (Ruarí and Marie-Therese) and staff (especially Salóg) add the all-important personal touch by making us feel very welcome giving their time to talk to you and ensure you get the most of you stay on Inis Meáin.

This place is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy a bit of luxury while eating amazing food, enjoying stunning scenery, reading Synge and being deafened by the silence.

Recommended accommodation of a good standard given its remoteness. Comfortable and with a stylish ruggedness that works well with the surroundings. Very limited dining options on the island so the attached restaurant with a menu targetting foodies has a grateful captive audience.
