Read a recommendation somewhere that an overnight stay on Inismore allows time to explore the island without the crowds that generally come over on a morning ferry and return to the mainland afternoon. Great advice! The island was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip to Ireland for sure.

Seacrest was a really good choice for B&B. Friendly, great value, good location, clean and modern. Just what we were looking for!

Stayed here in February with my girlfriend. B & B is 5-10 mins walk from the ferry port. Just left at the America bar and down a few meters. Geraldine is the lady of runs the B & B and is very nice and well go out of her way to help. Our room was a decent size with a comfortable bed, ensuite and TV. Rooms are cleaned every morning after breakfast. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would have no problem recommending this B & B. Great view of the bay when you sitting outside on the pinic tables.

We spent a day in Inishmore island, and checked in this B&B around 19h. We thought it would be too late, but the owner welcomed us without any problem. Because of being in low season, we didn't have to book in advance. We just saw this B&B, located at not more than 200m from the ferry port and since we wanted to come back to land in the first ferry the following morning, this accommodation was just perfect.
The room was very clean and comfortable, although I don't know why, but the heaters were turned off around 22h and they weren't turned on again until 7am. Even in bed, we could notice the room was quite cold.

Still our stay was good, and the breakfast was a good way to start a new day.

We stayed at this bed and breakfast for a two nights in August. The location is great and is within walking distance of the main village, Killronan. The breakfast is lovely and would certainly compliment the brown bread and the coffee. We had a lovely time on the island but found our room dated, to small and the shower itself in need of some sink and plug hole unblocker (it overflowed while having a shower). If you dont mind noise stay here, but if you like the quiet life and a good nights uninterupted sleep think again. Conversations of all coming in at night can be heard loud and clear from your bed ...now I could just be a light sleeper and the people returning after their night out could be just inconsiderate of others sleeping, still none the less we found ourselves awake. The bathroom noises are an added bonus once everyone have got into their rooms.. but once all have settled in for the night its very peaceful. Overall our experience was good ..

I stayed at Inishmor for 2 nights with my boyfriend. Its in a good place on the island where you can access the town and main shops and restaurants really easily, and its not a hard walk from the ferry whereas some of the other places are straight uphill or quite a long walk. This is important to keep in mind when choosing a place, because if you are far from the town it can be hard to get around (the island is bigger than I first thought). It seemed much bigger and nicer than some of the other Bed and Breakfasts we saw when touring the island. The room was ensuite and warm, Geraldine is so friendly and helpful, she even helped me get a doctors appointment when I needed one! Its hard to choose a place on Inishmor when many of the B&Bs don't have websites or even reviews. I would definitely recommend Seacrest, it exceeded my expectations honestly and I think we got lucky.

We arrived on a Monday on Aran Island in the evening and there were hardly anyone. It was quiet and we walked to SeaCrest B/B. They have 7 rooms, and we stayed at a moderately nice one with hot bath and heater and full Irish breakfast. The lady host is very friendly. If staying over the weekends, it's advisable to book in advice. Location is just behind the sweater shop, 5 mins walk from the ferry point.
