We arrived by ferry and were greeted by Mairtin the owner of Ard Mhuiris who was kind enough to drive us to the bed and breakfast. He and his wife, Cait, are very friendly and let us know what pub to visit and things to see. The location is conveniently located, with pubs and bike rental shops within walking distance. We spent three nights with them and it was lovely. There is a beautiful view of the ocean in the breakfast area. We would definitely love to return to the island and stay here again.

We were welcomed by Katherine & later (accidentally) met Marty at the American bar (bad name, best Guinness) and had a great chat - very friendly fellow. I agree with most of what has been written previously, with the exception of those few who state the welcome/service was poor. I cannot imagine that. We recommend it as a great overnight on Inismore.

We arrived off the boat and walked the short distance to Ard Mhuiris. We were met by an extremely helpful and friendly hostess, Cait, who spent loads of time giving us information about the islands and recommending things to do.

The rooms were well furnished. The only issue that I would recommend that be changed is the toilet paper dispensers! Everything else is great. Breakfast the following morning was fantastic, porridge full Irish breakfast toast and coffee! We didn't have to eat again until late in the afternoon!

All in all I would definitely recommend a stay at Ard Mhuiris.

We stayed for one night in August, 9 of us including 3 children, on a package with Aran Islands ferry. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there was even a hair dryer which I was not expecting. The B&B is a short walk from the ferry and only 5 mins from Ti Joe Watty's, which does the best Irish Stew on the island IMO, and has live music at night in season. It is also 5 mins from a beautiful sandy beach and the island's playground, which kept the kids happy. We will definitely stay here again.

This BB is located 5 mins walk from the Ferry Terminal in Innishmore. Rooms are very clean and well equipped, bathrooms are clean but bit small. Owner was very friendly and nice. Breakfast (as on attached picture) was very nice. We paid 30e pps which is not bad. I'd recommend this BB to all my friends. Thank you again.

stayed for 2 nights in feb. the place itself is a bit old, but it did the job for 2 nights. the owner dropped us to the ferry early in the morning so we wouldnt have to walk, that was nice. the showers were cold though. tried to find someone to ask them could the water be heated for us but no one to be seen. breakfast was nice. over all, it was grand.

Room Tip: i think the standard of all the rooms are the same.

stayed here for one night as package deal wit aran island ferries. comfortable enough though rooms kind of small. walk to house from ferry was marred by construction work and real bad weather. the owner took us on a tour of part of the island for 10 euro each. 60 euro total as there was 6 of us. when i had spoke to the tourist office before we left the states they had assured me that the bars would be open for music. this was untrue and only place to eat was the american grill do you believe. we wanted authentic food and music so we had a very disapointing trip. there are just as many beautiful spots in galway. for breakfast the next morning had scrambled eggs and cereal as we were leaving early.
