We recently attended a wedding at this hotel, and everything went like clockwork. Serving meals to 40 people at a time is always a bit of a challenge, but they made it look easy. And the food was quite good, as well. The staff were always helpful and friendly, and some of the lasses were the prettiest on that side of the pond!

We are are a group of musician, singers, dancers, story tellers that come mostly from Clare with members also from Dublin, Cork, Tipperary& Galway ( 54 in total). We decided to bring the group to Inis Mor for a weekend on Sept 29th. The hotel was able to take 36 of our guests and the remainder of the group stayed in local b/b's. Our stay at the hotel was most enjoyable and one that we will be long remembered with great joy & fondness by all. I made the booking with Niall who was very helpful from the word go. Keith took care of us for the weekend . Himself and Nessa met us on the pier and escorted everyone by bus to the hotel and the b/b's. The accommodation at the hotel was top class, lovely spacious bed rooms and very clean. The bar and dining room just fab for a group our size. We had the most beautiful meal in the dining room on the Sat evening. During the meal we had a big sing song and even a solo dance from one of our lovely dancers. We then set up in the lovely spacious bar with lovely dance floor for a fantastic night of music, song and dance. The natives of the Island joined in and we were so impressed with their ability to dance and sing. Keith and a very capable team of staff behind the bar took care of our thirsty needs for the night. It was a night that no one wanted to see end! . Breakfast next morning was very welcome and was beautifully served with a smile from staff that had worked hard the night b/4. Another big session of music, song and dance in the bar again on Sunday. Ferry left @ 5pm so after some lovely soup, and tasty toasted sandwiches, Keith packed us all into his bus and did several trips up and down to the ferry until we were all on board. Thanks to the hotel and their staff for a wonderful weekend. Would certainly recommend Inis Mor and the hotel for a weekend away. It was just great.

Room Tip: We had an exclusive booking on the night so, the feedback from all was very posiitve about the rooms...

Just back from our stay in this hotel, I have tio say it looks great from the website and fantastic on arrival (which was late and dark).
We had two rooms and was so disappointed at the way they were kept, dirt, cobwebs, lights not working, lamp shade brioken, lights flickering and large spiders in them, bed sheets stained and towels not great. Carpet in need of a good hoover and the bath room needs a bit of bleach on all floors and tiles, i tought after working all week and travelling such a long drive after my meal i would have a long bath but no i am afraid not as it was just not clean hard enough for me to shower and as for the toilet it needs alot of bleach and cleaning. Under beds and even aropund the unit are dirty and the head boards are wooden and a run of a cloth would clean these up. Bedrooms are in need of a bit of paint and a bit of care and attention.
I suggest that who ever is doing your cleaning i would get rid as they certainly are not doing their jos right.
The food was great we ate there friday, saturday and Sunday a bit disappointed that the menu was the same for all three days could vary this up and of course on saturday night we wanted to have desserts and they had ran out, very busy saturday night i would suggest that it would be made know to your guests that they could reserve a table for a certain time if they required evening meals, also on Sunday there was no hot food until 3pm with kids this is a very long day from breakfast.

The staff were very nice very firendly and they work very hard. There could be someone actually at the desk for people to talk to and to advise guests.

Overall i am not just sure if we would return as i hate hotels that do nto have clean bedrooms and bathrooms especially when travelling with children.

We had our wedding at the Aran islands hotel in July.To say our wedding surpassed our expectations is an understatement, it was truly an amazing weekend from start to finish.
I really don't know where to start... The staff, Niall, Keith & all of the other staff at the hotel were so professional and went above and beyond from the moment we arrived to the moment we were waved off at the pier. They were always available to drop/collect us from around the island and even went to the shop for glue & thread when I had a veil emergency.
The hotel is very central and has some stunning views. We were blessed with the weather and were able to sit out and enjoy the views. The food was 5 star. The music on the Friday night of the Mulkerrin brothers was brilliant and local band for our wedding were fab. The rooms were very clean & comfortable.
We'd been to the Aran islands before we booked our wedding, it really is an amazing place & I'm so happy we had our wedding here and would highly recommend it to any other couple. We will definately be back again.

Thank you Niall and your great team for making this trip to the Islands so enjoyable. We travelled from Northern Ireland. I had been to the Island earlier in the year and loved it. Decided to return and bring 2 older members of the family to experience their first visit to the Aran Islands and this comfortable and friendly hotel. It did not disappoint. Niall helped plan and organise our trips to the other Islands. Staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble to them. Rooms were spacious and spotless. We had rooms with beautiful views over the Bay. The food in the restaurant was very good and the atmosphere in the bar in the evenings relaxed and congenial with entertainment several nights. The craic was good between locals and visitors. We stayed 4 days and left refreshed and relaxed. Would recommend as the ideal break.

Room Tip: Front rooms overlook the Bay. Beautiful views. Some have balconies
