It's a tidal pool that you can get down to pretty close at low tide, but difficult to find. Take a long road off the main road leading from Kilmuvey Beach. You'll come to the end of the road and feel you have nowhere else to go. Just park your bike, jump the short stone wall and walk to the right toward the coast, stay at sea-level, not the cliff above.

We walked along the rocks to the worm hole. Tide pools along the way were interesting. We watched several seals playing in the water just off shore.

If you feel like a bit of a hike, this is well worth seeing. It is a natural formation that looks man made, set in a beautiful setting.

Amazing

We followed the directions but got lost. The terrain is unforgiving, and the paths hard to find. We did eventually reach the worm hole on the lower path and it's pretty awesome. Getting back to the B and B via Dun Aengus as we were told proved a near disaster. We tried to cut across the many stone walled fields and must have been a sorry sight climbing over them in an often vain attempt to get back. it took us nearly 2 hours! keep in mind we are seniors and had no business testing ourselves this way. It made for quite an adventure.
