Our original booked hotel was in the center of the city, but the hotel canceled us out because of a wedding there on our second night, so we are staying at a location on the outskirts of the city at Clayton hotel Leopardstown room 573 for two nights. This hotel was previously owned by Bewles and three years ago the Clayton chain took them over. Hotel itself is 10 years old. Giving this hotel a 4.5 hinge rating (scale 1-5) as it is very well appointed throughout. Hotel is in the office area of the town and there is no food places other than the hotel restaurant, but that is the nature of the location servicing business and offices in the area. To get to town or find a place to eat outside of the hotel (there is nothing else around) you have to take transportation (the Lewas = tram train) into town.
Hotel windows open for cooling and has radiators in the room (nice for drying clothes) but no air-conditioning. Our room faced the front of the hotel and was a little noisy in the very early morning with traffic, we had to shut the windows around 4 AM.More
