We live in Dalkey.
Regazzi is a comfortable place to visit. It is located in the centre of Dalkey and the staff are friendly. The place has a good atmosphere and it is invariably booked out, which speaks volumes in the present economic climate.
They offer great simple starters such as Bruschetta, which they do really well, alongside staples such as Caprese di Bufala, Calamari and so on.
The Pastas are well executed, especially the Panzerotti al Tartufo wich is excellent.
Many people seem to drop in for a Pizza, which is not surprising as they are authentic and tasty.
The meat dishes seem to be limited to the staples such as Saltimbocca alla Romana etc, but hey, this is an authentic Italian restaurant, not a chain with an Italian sounding name serving 'Mediterranean Cuisine '.
Th is is not haute cuisine by any stretch of the imagination, but it offers great value for money and simple authentic food.in a friendly environment.
You need to use the correct name - Regazzi!

We visited this restaurant in June and was very disappointed. We had the house special which turned out to be a thin piece of plaice containing so many bones that it was impossible to enjoy. Good atmosphere though. Perhaps she should have taken notice of the fact that most people were eating the pizzas! Other reviewers talk about the friendly attentive staff. The woman who served us was very pleasant but any restaurant whose menu warns that late arrival will mean that the table is given to someone else, that diners should assume that they have the table for the night and that the bill is likely to be presented with the coffee (presumably to hurry you along) is not conducive to a friendly welcoing atmosphere. Our bill for a shared plate of italian ham and olives, two fish "specials", a beer and a glass of wine came to £78.00 - very expensive for what we had. Wouldn't go near the place again.

Ragazzi's is a lovely little Italian Restaurant in the heard of Dalkey. Authentic Italian food of consistantly high standard. Owner and waiting staff are Italian and very friendly and upbeat. Decor quirky with lots of character. Our absolutely favorite place to eat in Dublin, have being coming here for about 7 years and have never been disappointed. Great for a romantic evening, meal out with friends and super for families too as waiters are so friendly and nice with the children.

This is a really great little place in Dalkey for anyone craving a little bit of Italy. The service is extremely hospitable and the menu varied. I love their pizza, because exactly like the pizza I enjoy in Italy, it is all about the thin crispy base. Their salads are humongous and wonderful and though I've never had it myself, I have seen the sheer delectable pleasure on the face of he who loves his pasta dishes.
