“Was expecting more”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

These guys have a great online presence and always talked a good game.

Unfortunately I was a little underwhelmed by their brunch menu. It's pretty basic and the cafe it's self lacks character. I had the french toast with bacon and syrup - the toast was really thin and almost chewy.

But then maybe that's just me.

“The perfect lunch”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

Recently visited Ireland with my partner a my mother. So even if I was brave enough to disagree with them, which like most rational men, I am not. I could only echo their views on the Corner Note
They both thought everything about it was perfect.
Top notch food combined with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and great location.
Not sure what else you could want from an afternoon.

“Worth a detour”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

I am fortunate enough to live not too far away from The Corner Note, but I only get the opportunity to visit at weekends. I have been here several times, and it never fails to please. It's great for brunch at the weekends with great food, great coffee and great service. It is a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by, or catch up with people.
There is lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, and it always seems to be nicely busy.

I'm looking forward to getting down there some day for lunch, to try a few of the other tempting dishes on the menu.
If the weather permits, they have seating outside. If you are after wifi, it's amazingly fast.
A lot of places could learn a thing or two by visiting here. Well worth a detour.

“The Best Brunch In Dublin”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

It's a cafe, so don't expect Michelin star gourmet food, but if you're looking for really excellent coffee and quite possibly the best brunch in Dublin, then this is the place. We went on the recommendation of someone from the pub around the corner (Finnegans, the best pint of Guiness in Dublin? but that's another review) and we have to agree that local knowledge is invaluable. Perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon, hot toast, the most incredible but really unusual-flavoured sausages (mustard and apple?) with all the beans, tomatoes, pudding and mushroom trimmings. Service was excellent, really friendly people and we'll definitely be back
