“Lovely Hotel in a lovely town”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

Just returned from a lovely weekend in the Bracken Court Hotel. The Room was fantastic, very spacious & clean. The Food in the Restaurant was fabulous, so much so we returned the 2nd night to try out the bar menu, every bit as good. All the staff were very friendly, helpful & cheerful. We also got the train into Dublin on our 2nd day, a mere 40 min trip, the station is within walking distance of the Hotel. Would have no hesitation recommending this Hotel to anyone. We really enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: we stayed in room 407, a very spacious room overlooking the front of the Hotel. the WIFI connection...

Travelled to the Bracken Court with my wife and two children and have nothing but positives to speak of. Excellent room, excellent food and very friendly staff mean that while this was our first visit to the Bracken Court it won't be our last. Ideally situated for Dublin day trips, with the train station only a few hundred yards away. Top Class, cannot wait to make a return trip!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception in this hotel on 14th Aug and i have to say it was fantastic. The service was second to none and my guests are still ringing me to tell me how fab the hotel was and how gorgeous the food was. I can not say enough how special the staff made my day and i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking around for a wedding venue or even just to stay for a few days, you wont be dissapointed. The rooms are spacious the food is fab and the staff are excellent.

We have just literally returned from the bracken court. We arrived on Saurday 18th August, we were met by a lovely girl on reception who was so helpful all weekend. We were given room 504 on the 5th floor a floor which had a large party type balcony overlooking the city. We went for dinner in the new steak and seafood grill and have to say the food was perfect, all made better by a lovely blonde waitress nothing was too much trouble. The steak was fantastic quaffed down by a lovely new Zealand Sauvignon. After a few hours in the very lively bar which ha a great atmosphere a local singer was blasting out all the classics. We then retired to our room which had a fantastically comfortable bed 42 inch tv, 2 sweater and single seat lounger jacuzzi and very large double shower. Sunday morning topped it off with a typical Irish breakfast fantastic, and a walk along the beach.
Thanks to all at the hotel who made the stay just what me and my wife needed, after a long week of work. Try it you will not regret our decision :-)

Room Tip: 5th floor all the way, and try the restaurant 1st class

8 of us booked the August UK bank holiday weekend using a Groupon deal. We booked the day we got our Groupon deal and our booking was accepted by the hotel. 2 weeks before the bank holiday we received an email to say that our 4 rooms were no longer available because the hotel was undergoing renovations! Surprisingly there was no mention of the renovations on the website and when I checked there were 4 rooms available on the Sunday night. Groupon have refunded our money but the Bracken Court has lost this and any future business.
