Lovely night away on a package which included B&B, meal and then we paid for spa treatments. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable. The hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly. The hotel have a no noise policy, breaking this means a fine. We found that the walls were thin and we could everything from the rooms either side of us and the hall, from people plugging in plugs and my sister was woke at 1am from the couple in the next room. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely and again service excellent. The residents bar was lovely and cosy. The spa was a great relaxing treat. All and all I would recommend this hotel for a night away, the only down side being that you can hear too much noise.

i attended my sister's wedding in December and had booked a family room 1 month beforehand, the room itself was on the other side the of the hotel in the old section where relatives who had booked after me received the rooms in the new section. Overall the room was clean but very noisy as we heard everyone passing to restaurant in the morning and a fighting couple next door woke us up during the night.
i was charged more for a family room than other relatives for the same type of room-which i contacted the hotel about via email but got no reply. there is also not anything for children to do in the hotel so would not stay here again due to service and facilities as there is a better hotel not too far away.

Room Tip: ask for a room in new section of the hotel, not to get lost searching for old rooms.

Attended a Christmas party recently and it was excellent. From start to finish I could not fault anything. The food was extremely well presented and served - more like a la carte restaurant than traditional party season. the band was also very good. Overall fantastic value for money and would highly recommend!

First impressions on arrival was that of a clean, warm, busy hotel. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, especially Cathy. My wife and I had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a nice bottle of red recommended by manager Ronan. The food was very good (steak cooked to perfection). Our stay was midweek so we were happy when we found live music in the Forge Bar which had a good crowd and great atmosphere. Overall Lovely Hotel and definitely will be back for a break soon. Only improvement I would suggest would be to add a gym/pool to their setup.
