We stayed at Cabin B during the weekend of August 1 - 3, 2008 for our fifth wedding anniversary. We learned of the property through a charity silent auction where we bid on two nights' stay and won. The property billed itself as an eco-tourism location with low impact cabins that are surrounded by nature and a wildlife management area. Therefore, jacuzzi hot tubs and moutain views from cut trees this is not (thankfully!).
The cabin was rustic but had a complete kitchen, central air/heat, ceiling fans, and attractive quilt decorations. While we enjoyed our time there sitting on the porch reading, cooking in the kitchen, and spending time with each other, there is little to nothing else to do in the area. The town it's located in probably has probably fewer than 100 people, and there aren't even trails for hiking or walking into the wildlife management area. Plans for canoe, raft, and bicycle rentals from the small store don't seem to have come to fruition yet. You need to bring most, if not all, of your food in with you b/c the country store has a limited stock of items. Also consider bringing some of your own kitchen tools (like paring knives, pancake griddle) if you want to do real cooking.
If you're looking for a place to relax, slow down, and spend quality time with family or friends, this is a great location. However, if you want the opportunity to do activities, go hiking, eat at restaurants, etc., this is not the place for you.
