I had a great stay at the Hotel Oliver. The rooms and common areas are brand new and beautifully decorated. Service is genuine. It is located right on Market Square, great little area with cute restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Knoxville.

We stayed at the Oliver to check it out as a place for my daughter's wedding guests to stay. The renovation is marvelous! Clean, contemporary, and chic. Rooms are lovely and extremely comfortable and well appointed. Lovely artwork in the lobby and the bar looks fabulous, very cozy. The staff is very helpful, especially Alex. It is conveniently located on Market Square, near good restaurants and fun boutique shopping. A small hitch is the parking, not close and not complimentary. Overall, a wonderful place and where we will always stay when in Knoxville.

thought we would treat ourselves to the oliver as it was recommended by a well known travel guide. found the attitude of check -in staff self-important and patronising.there is no free parking- it is in an open public car park nearby- not ideal .the rooms are well- appointed but nothing special.there is no breakfast and nowhere to sit and chat with anyone else. all-in-all not great.

Wife and I stayed here for an in-town getaway from the kids - we really enjoyed ourselves. Hotel was quiet, staff was extremely helpful and pleasant and the rooms were outfitted with fine furniture and fixtures. Plus, convenient to EVERYTHING downtown - all in walking distance.

I'll recommend to my friends and family to stay here when they are in town. Thanks for the great "staycation" and we will be back!

We "splurged" for a suite here and it certainly was worth the extra few bucks. We knew that the next weekend we would be paying twice as much in NYC for a room that was a quarter the size and charm. Very cool decor, unfortunately some former guests had not used coasters, leaving rings on the nice wood table. Lovely bathroom, with acre of counter space and 2 sinks: no fighting. Staff was lovely, gave us good recommendations and helped with Expedia snafu. Location is great, a couple of blocks from downtown (nice downtown: my guy even went shopping!) but far enough to avoid the noise of late night drinkers. I would travel a lot more if I could get such a great deal!

Room Tip: pay a few bucks more to get a suite, if you are going to be in the room a lot

What an amazing Hotel. If you are in Knoxville, you're trip is not complete without a stay at The Oliver. Firstly, the Front Desk Staff are incredible, going beyond the call of duty to meet our every need.
My party took 3 rooms and each one was spectacular! Incredible showers & duvets.
Do not miss this if you're in Knoxville.

This small Hotel in downtown Knoxville is absolutely charming. This intimate hotel located in downtown in walking distance of shopping and dinning. Service was great I would absolutely stay again. If you like boutique hotels you will LOVE the Oliver!
