Very polite staff and a great place to experience southern hospitality. Not far from shopping and dinning with a relaxing room to call your home away from home. The room was nice and clean and breakfast was a nice way to start the day.

I attended a UT game and stayed at the Hilton during my stay. I arrived on Saturday and greeted pleasantly by the valet and front desk staff. My room had two queen beds and was clean. On a normal Saturday in Knoxville the AAA rate for this room is $92, but on game day it is $210. I understand supply and demand, no problem. But with an approximate 128% increase in price, I would expect a restaurant/bar area that was adequately staffed. This was certainly not the case. It would be generous to say service was poor. It was not a case of rude employees, just more customers than the staff could handle. Waited 20 minutes at lunch time and no one greeted us at our table and others around us were asking about the delay with their orders. Later that night, no improvement. Very disappointing.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for giving us your honest and professional feedback from your most recent experience. I fully understand how delays and issues with service during a stay had a dramatic effect on your stay in hotel. I sincerely apologize for your experience and for failing to reach your expectation from a Hilton property. We also failed to reach our own expectation in this case. We take these matters very seriously and respond with taking action to correct issues as they arise. Again, we are very sorry for your experience and hope that we have another opportunity to serve you in the future.

Sincerely,

Excellent accommodations. Very friendly staff and nice lobby and bar. The valet parking is worth every dime as they do an excellent job with your vehicle. We were there on game day (UT/Vandy) so it was a very busy hotel. They treated us well and our overall experience was excellent.

Right in the center of downtown. Easy to walk to Market Square. Good restaurant and bar in the hotel - plus a Starbucks in the lobby. Conference facilities are great for small groups. Attentive front desk staff and bellmen.

Stayed here for business for two nights and enjoyed my visit. Centrally-located and walking distance to Market Square that contained some great restaurants (Tepulo Honey Cafe was amazing! I went there for both lunch and dinner the day I arrived). The lobby is new and inviting, and the rooms are well-appointed. Beds are very comfortable. A few notes:

1. The business center is just four desktops in the lobby of the hotel. So, if you were looking for a quiet place to get anything done, you will have to do it in your hotel room and use the business center for printing.

2. Front desk is a bit slow, but perhaps that's because I'm from NYC and used to

3. The complimentary breakfast for executive level rooms is almost as good as the breakfast buffet in the main restaurant, so depending on the price difference, it may make more sense to pay up for the room and get breakfast there.

4. Bathrooms in the room are surprisingly a bit small. It's hard to close the door without some gymnastics.

Very unimpressed with room. Most staff was super nice, but food was horrible & overpriced. You expect to pay more at the hotel, but usually it's worth the money - none of our meals were . . . . the location was great for our concert, but for future visits, we will find another hotel to try out.

Several shortcomings and inferior to other downtown choices - convention or otherwise. The room was noisy in the evening, the elevators were slow (especially at checkout) and our room hadn't been cleaned at 3PM when we needed to begin getting ready for our afternoon / evening events. The restaurant staff was friendly but the bar waitress was just there for a paycheck. This is a typical but very tired convention hotel.
