Littons has a bit of something for everyone, but the real reason to go is to try some of their fabulous desserts. You check in at a chalkboard, with larger parties being accommodated.
The burgers are very good, with 2 major options offered. There are also daily specials which sounded quite interesting.
Desserts are presented in a display case at the front of the restaurant. They are very happy to pack something to go.
A good place to stop by with the family, near Interstates 640 and 75.

I am in the music business and was in Knoxville for a show with a national hit making recording artist. We try and sample various foods but especially Love home cooking. This restaurant hits on all marks; Homestyle cooking, fresh baked goods, soups and most of all clean sanitary premises.
You will not be sorry.

Our 1st experience at Litton's and won't be our last. We brought our family to Knoxville for a football game and stayed out east we had heard about Litton's but never made the drive to the north side. The 30 minutes across town was well worth the drive and time. The burgers and homemade fries were wonderful nothing like a chain restaurant. The onion rings and desserts are a must. The great food, friendly service and atmosphere made for a great meal and memorable evening.

I have been a patron of Litton's Market & Restaurant since 1987. I have watched this restaurant prosper almost from the very beginning. Many of the employees have worked for the Litton family business for many years. Some have worked at the restaurant for more than 20 years. The menu has changed very little. The food quality is consistently excellent as is the service by all of the hostesses, waiters and waitresses. It would be, however, a morale booster for the patrons of Litton's Market & Restaurant if some of the wait staff refrained from referring to the owner, Mr. B. Litton, as "Satan" in front of his customers. I have waited for the best food I have ever had for up to 2 hours in the earlier years. The wait was worth it. I would work for Mr. Litton myself.

The hamburgers and French fries are always delicious and cooked to order. The key lime pie, in my opinion, is the best you can find anywhere. Litton's is the perfect place for a quick business man's luncheon. Lunch time service is quick and the food is at a affordable price.

We stopped here for an early lunch on a Monday. Heard great things, they were right! The burger, the salad, the onion rings, the coffee, all super yummy! Had a couple pieces of pie to go, coconut was good, but not great. Key lime - sublime. Friendly service, easy parking. Make the trek north of Knoxville, it's worth it!
