“Very good”

Savelli's is one of the few good Italian restaurants in Knoxville. Seating is tight to say the least. Expect it to be packed on weekends. Always good.

“Best Calzones in Knoxville”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

Be sure to order the appetizer Calzones. This New Yorker Loves them.
Quiet spot for business lunch or romantic dinner.
Doesn't seem like a kid place to us.
Bring your own bottle of wine or enjoy one of their cold beers.

The Grouper Sandwich is delicious. I do not, however recommend the basic Spaghetti.

Eat at Savelli's and enjoy.

“Not Really Kid Friendly”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

but that may depend on your kid. Savelli's offers unique specials and great desserts. Their pizzas and calzones are great when cooked correctly and still good even when a bit overdone. It's a family operation in the truest sense of the word, and I'm glad to support them once in a while.

“very disappointing”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

I have eaten at Savelli's many times over the years and it has been a favorite. The last two times have been disappointing. The last visit had something that felt like eating sand. Both my son and I said it felt like that. We thought it might have been salt but never have crunch salt in any food, ever.

“One of our favorite restaurants!”
Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

We've eaten at Savelli's many times. Small, family-owned restaurant 10 minutes or less from downtown. Our food has always been delicious and the service is always great. The specials can be a bit pricey, but the regular menu is very reasonable. Definitely worth a try!!
