Description: Our Southern dishes & libations are served with a creative twist & a smile. When we play with our food (& we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, & our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling & frying, canning & preserving, & utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.

We had lunch at 1:30 on a Wednesday and the place was packed, but we were seated quickly. They bring made from scratch biscuits to the table that are delicious. You can order a small appetizer assortment and the fried green tomatoes were crisp and flavorful. The cheesy smashed cauliflower and Brussels spouts were very good as well. We found the servers/staff to be very friendly and it is clearly a local favorite. We would definitely eat here again. Great location in the Market Square and just a block off of Gay Street, the main avenue downtown.

We recently dined at Tupelo Honey on a rainy Friday, with the Christmas Parade about to happen. The place was packed. We still received excellent service and good food. Our dinners arrived sooner than desired, as we still were finishing soup or salad, along with their great biscuits. Onion soup is cream based, different, but tasty. The loaded grilled cheese is quite tasty,
We will return.

Great atmosphere and fantastic food that wont break the bank. Loved the ceiling fans as well as the rest of the decor. Super friendly staff. The biscuits were a great starter with the blueberry preserves. The Bear menu was great as well as the beer. We will be back.

Variety of local and southern food is the BEST! Took off one star as it is very hard to get in because it is so popular!!
