The museum has concerts on Friday evenings and they have become a favorite of ours. It is a really fun time and the dancing is wonderfu.

The KMA is a decent little museum for a mid-sized Southern city. It could stand to be a bit larger, and as it's rather small, there is limited artwork to see, but the pieces in the permanent exhibit are interesting and they often have some cutting edge work, more recently when I went, a Japanese photographer's work. They tend to focus on local works, but that doesn't mean there isn't local talent -- there is. I just wish they had some more tradition, or even contemporary, pieces that were on a bit of a bigger scale. Still, not bad.

We had our wedding reception here in June and it was wonderful. Everyone that we got to work with was overly nice and flexible with all that I needed. They were wonderful to work with and it all went off without a hitch!

They have chaning exhibits, so it is difficult to tell what you will see. We saw an exhibit of art from area children. Some amazing talent there. An exhibit of people somehow related to Eastern Tennessee was very well presented, with lots of information. Well worth a visit.

Hospitality. Free Admission. Great East Tennessee Art on display when I was there. Bumped into Director of Knoxville Film Festival downstairs. Bought stuff at gift shop. Friendly People,
