In it's debut Mandarin House hit it off well at the Merchants Exit and Downtown West. Eventually the Downtown West was closed due to illegal hirigin practices. The Merchant's location is still open today but the fish tanks on display are highly contaminated with green slime which detracts from the food on the buffet. Health Inspection Scores have been low. Patronage is down so low that the likely hood of food poisoning is increased due to the low turnover of foods that are not maintained at the proper temperature. This location has declined greatly since it opened back in the early 90's.
