TDI Road trip Point of View.....From the moment you walk in.....it is another world.....a great world....we were on the move.....so we got a variety of Hummus and Dolmas for the road...hot pita bread just made....the owners greeted us like long lost family(the ones you want to see).... Vegetarian falafel was tasty....tahini sauce and cucumber sauce were yummy! If you want food from other cultures.......Definitely stop in if you are in Knoxville!
VW Jetta TDI back on the road....again!

There is a reason that The Holy Land is #1 on trip advisor. It's a real gem that you would probably not find on your own. We have been there at least a dozen times and have brought others along.
Walter & Denise are the owners and they are very friendly. When you combine that with consistently Delicious food, you have a Winner! The menu is always changing and if you just want a hamburger or a Reuben you can get that also. Walter will prepare anything you ask for if he has the ingredients.
When you try it, you will love it!

Talk about a find!! We took Trip Advisor's recommendation to dine at The Holy Land while passing through Knoxville!! Everything was delicious.....from the homemade red pepper hummus with pita bread to the baklava for dessert!! We tried the lentil soup, chicken curry and and the grilled chicken. Fabulous! The Mediterranean market has yummy stuff too! The owner, Walter, was so gracious, friendly and welcoming....we loved him!! A great restaurant!!!! We're just sorry that we don't live in Knoxville.....because this would be our favorite go-to place!!!

We've been going to the Holy Land for years. Walter and Denise are gracious and friendly. Walter loves trying new recipes and so far, I haven't found one that I didn't like. If you go in there a few times they'll know your name. On St.Patrick's Day they prepared the best corned beef I think I've ever had. They also have prepared salads, interesting Middle Eastern foods and different flavored hummus to take away. It's a great place and Knoxville is lucky to have it!

What a wonderful we stumbled on with Holy Land Market. Walter introduced himself and told us about each special and let us sample the hummus. Awesome food!
