Had lunch with my family.
Appetizers ordered were egg rolls, spring rolls, and crab rangoon. The egg rolls were fried to a light crisp texture. Not greasy at all. And came with a nice sweet/sour dipping sauce. The spring rolls were crisp although the rice wrapper seemed a little thicker and chewier than normal. Come with a nice dipping sauce that seemed to be soy sauce based with some hot spices. Crab rangoon was excellent. Fried to a light crisp texture without being greasy. Nice creamy filling. The waiter also brought us each a small bowl of Tom Yum Kai (coconut soup). Right balance between sweet and creamy.
Entrees were Thai BBQ chicken and Pad Thai. The chicken was a 1/2 chicken that was baked with a mild BBQ sauce. Meat was tender and juicy. Easily pulled off the bones. Came with a sweet dipping sauce. Side was shrimp fried rice, good but not outstanding. Pad Thai I did not try but others said it was great.
Drink was Thai iced tea. Very good.
Atmosphere was relaxing. Obvious asian themed with an over all spa/retreat feel.
Food is very authentic and excellent. Restaurant is very comfortable and inviting. Definitely recommend.
I love the Atlanta location and I was so glad to find this one in Knoxville - great martinis (island martini is delicious!), great apps (crab angels!) and yummy Thai dinner options. Good service and nice atmosphere & decor.
