Mascarpone caramel pistachio gelato to go in a florescent pink cup was perfect for winding down after the theatre on a sultry knoxville nite. Apparently you can get panini and salad but why bother, just go the jugular. They also have sorbetto and sodas.

They let you try everything. They were so excited about sharing all their flavors, they even told us about a flavor they had in the back - coconut curry.... thanks, but not our favorite; maybe better for those who like sweet and savory in one bite.

We LOVED the hazelnut and the chocolate. And the rest of the food looked delicous as well. So much food, so little time!

This is a MUST DO in Knoxville!!!

Friends and I eat here regularly . The owners work to make real homemade flavors that simply knock your socks off with the flavors. Cake Batter really does taste like cake batter. Banana Pudding really does taste like Banana pudding. Shonzberries really do... you get the point. Welcoming atmosphere, great service are to found in abundance. Plus, its located between the TN Theater and the new Riveria movie theater downtown with free parking around back in the state street garage. It may cost a little bit more, but wow, it's excellent. The park across the street makes for a lovely view too.

I had an excellent hot chocolate and a small Linzer tart, one of those double-layer cookies with a jam center and powdered sugar on top. They're really hard to find here - Gourmet's Market made them years ago for Valentine's Day - but they've pretty much disappeared from local eateries. The Linzer was very good, and when the owner came around to make sure everything was fine, I asked him whether they were home-baked (assuming, of course, that they weren't). He said, proudly, that his wife baked them, as she baked all the desserts they offered.
