My wife and daughter stayed here for there nights in June 2011 as part of a 20 person group, participating in the National "High School" Rowing Championships in nearby Oak Ridge. We thought that the hotel was excellent--very clean, apparently relatively new and, most of all, the staff and management (Staci) were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located off of Interstate 40 (very close by, but far enough away that there was no road noise; in fact, the hotel was very quiet- keep in mind that many rowers and families stayed there and, by and large, that is a polite group pf clientele), about a 20 minute drive to the regatta site and to downtown Knoxville on I-40 (Univ Tennessee, and Farmer's Market in pleasant Market Square on Saturday morning; weekday traffic can be pretty steady, to heavy), and very close by to superb shopping area (Turkey Creek) which has just about every type of restaurant or store you could imagine. Short drive to Turkey Creek and could even walk there (especially to convenience store, Weigl's), although road was a bit busy. Included breakfast was excellent at the hotel, as was the breakfast room staff. All in all, Staci and her team made this a very enjoyable visit.More
