“Very Nice Stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

This hotel is very clean with brightly colored decor. The bed was very comfortable and was well stocked with extra pillows, which is always a plus for us! The staff was friendly and courteous. We would definitely consider a visit to this place again if ever in this area again. Well worth the value!

Stayed here on a Friday night on our way to the South Carolina coast. The rate was $69 and was an excellent value. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was an indoor pool and they also offered a free hot breakfast! Our key card did not work and the staff immediately fixed it without any further issues. Fairfield Inns are intended to offer value with less amentities, but we found this hotel to be very competitive with other hotels that are priced much higher. We would definitely stay here again!

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything looked new and well taken care of. The staff were friendly and accomdated every request we had. The continental breakfast had a lot of variety and the staff kept it well stocked even though they were busy. The pool was very warm and the area was clean and always had fresh towels. Great value for the money.

The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was nice. There was a nice lady that kept the breakfast area well stocked the entire time. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been and the cable was limited and not clear.

When I got to the hotel it all seemed just ok from the start. The front desk was busy from the start and we got there at 11:30(ish) local time. While standing there waiting to get our room it was already going from just ok to oh now what have i gotten myself into. A couple that had checked in earlier than use was given the wrong room number and walked into a room already occupied. Then after we were checked in I over heard the clerk tell her co worker of another room mistake they have made. At this point i was thinking "oh i hope our room is not occupied already or i hope they don't try to give use roommates!" Well once we got into the room, it was the same as other people have posted, the room had a musky odor. The heat was on when we got in the room, that seem to make it worse so i cranked up the air to help out, it seemed to help. The people at the desk did not seemed thrilled to be working, i actually don't think they ever made eye contact while we checked in! We were never acknowledged as Marriott rewards members.....well this is just all from my 1st 2 hours in the room. The bathroom seemed nice and the toiletries are a name brand i use so that is a plus. I am guessing the beds are nice and comfy, my husband went to sleep immediately! Oh and the business center was good, fast computers and fast printing.....wireless in the rooms is nice also, i have gone to hotels where it is like i am on dial up. Ok so enough rambling ... you get the point of my stay so far...it has its plus and minuses, So over all rating is average for a hotel built in 1996 and was remolded in 2008!!

I stayed here with a business partner for one night. We arrived late. The front desk clerk was excellent. He gave us a room on the 1st floor. The room seemed very updated for a Fairfield. We had booked before arrival online and got one of the best rates I've gotten in a long time. Room was clean and exactly what we needed for a short stay. We did not eat breakfast, so I cannot comment on this portion of the hotel. There are a plethora of restaurants on the same exit, including a Cracker Barrel across the street. I will absolutely stay here again when in the area.

My family stopped here for a single February week night for an event at Knoxville Civic Center. The room was very quiet and clean and well stocked with essential necessities. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too small and too soft. Staff was nice, but not as friendly as I have experienced with other Marriott chains. Check in and out was smooth. Price was more than I liked, but better than similar chains in the Knoxville area. The complimentary breakfast was very good with any options and continually stocked. Very convenient to downtown Knoxville.
