We found this hotel to be very good. I'm confused by some of the earlier reviews. Our room was updated, had an LCD television, microwave and refrigerator. The room and the property were very clean and comfortable. The staff we met were friendly enough and helpful with suggestions.

The breakfast area was very nice. The eating area was separated from the food pickup area, which made it less crowded and a much more pleasant experience. There was a wide selection of items - cereal, waffles, yogurt, fruit, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, english muffins, muffins. Everything was well stocked and the area was neat and clean.

The hotel is very close to Exit #398 on I 40, but we found it to be very quiet as it is far enough away from the highway. There were quite a few restaurants in the area, but nothing spectacular - Cracker Barrel and a number of the standard fast food restaurants.

In addition, the price was lower than the rest of the Marriott properties in the area. It's definitely far away from the tourist areas and the national park - a positive or a negative, depending on your travel plans. I liked that it was out of the tourist area and all the crowds, I'd stay here again.

We left our first floor room to go out to supper on Tuesday, October 11; we came back to a room that had been robbed. Just going across the street to the Cracker Barrel, we were gone less than an hour. Taken was our laptop & computer bag with research folders inside, prescription medicines, and overnight bag. The police were called, but the hotel took no responsibility for the robbery. It appeared to be an inside job, because there was no forced entry. Both room keys were in our possession. We have yet to receive a written apology for the happening or any follow up on whether our belongings have been found. There was little apparent concern for this robbery and its personal effect on us from the management, though the desk clerk apologized several times. Also, the lock on the back entrance to the hotel was broken, so there was no security. For the past several years, we have intentionally chosen to stay in Marriott hotels and are members of their Marriott Rewards and Benefits Program. We are quite disappointed in how the management treated us and this situation. The attitude and lack of concern is not what we have come to expect from Marriott hotels.

This hotel is located just off the Interstate, and is convenient to Sevierville and Pigeon Forge areas. There are restaurants nearby if you don't want to drive any further - and who doesn't like Cracker Barrel? This hotel is very clean and well appointed. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The morning breakfast was very nice, and the dining/kitchen area was extremely clean. The room was really nice and large with a very clean bathroom - even the grout between the tiles was quite clean. I would love to find hotels this clean everywhere I go.

This hotel was very nice. Staff were pleasant upon check-in and the decor was fun and funky--a little more quirky than you normally see at a Fairfield. The room was clean, cheery and a nice size. The beds are heavenly--they have the foam-topped Marriott bed and it makes for a comfy night's sleep. Our room had a microwave and fridge. Breakfast is the usual Fairfield spread including waffles. The price felt a tad high for the area (not much around there) and we heard traffic noise all night from the interstate, but the window unit drowned out most of it. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that does not face the interstate--it will be much quieter.

We found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable.
The rooms were nice but the television needs to be updated to flat screens which seems to be the standard today. Our bed was very comfortable! Unlike some hotels the breakfast area was large and comfortable. All in all a good stay.

I was trying to book the one in Pigeon Forge, but it was booked. Decided on this one, for $10 cheaper. It is approx. 20-25 Min to Pigeon Forge, however, it did take us approx. 45 minutes to get to mid Pigeon Forge, bumper to bumper traffic, yet it was a very enjoyable ride. The hotel itself has a modern/green type of decor. It seems they have done some updating, I found the hotel very clean, except for the elevator carpet, then again it was late on Saturday. It has a small coffee maker-2 cup, no refrigerator, on the other hand, it does have free Internet in room, in addition it also had a couple of PC's in the lobby. In door pool, seemed quite clean, and the breakfast was continental. Exercise room was small, but who exercises when you go to Pigeon Forge..Very quiet and beds were firm! The location was good enough for us.
