This is a good place to stay if you visit Knoxville. It is right off the highway just minutes from downtown and UT. The staff is very nice and the room was clean. There was nothing bad nor spectacular about this place. The only negative thing I could say is they do not have king beds, just queens. Other than that, it is a good, affordable, clean and friendly place to stay. Job well done to the staff!

We really enjoyed our stay at the residence inn. The room was great with a full kitchen. The breakfast was good & their service was outstanding. We also liked the location. We will stay again for sure!

We stayed here for one night, on a business trip. The hotel is immaculate and the staff is helpful and friendly. The complimentary appetizers and beer in in the lobby that evening were also good. The single bed accommodations were roomy and included a living room and kitchen. The only disappointment is that the highway noise is always present. It's enough to consider ear plugs. A room on the parking lot side might be better.

Room Tip: Get a room on the parking lot side, away from the highway noise.

Thank you for recognizing all of the great positives regarding the Residence Inn Knoxville. The things that you cited, from immaculate cleanliness to friendly service is what we're all about. As you noted, being an "Interstate-located" hotel has its challenges from time to time during high traffic periods in regards to noise. We know that the volume affects light sleepers and make every effort to place those folks opposite the Interstate if requested.

I appreciate the time you took to let us know how we're doing. I hope you'll consider the Residence Inn again for your future Knoxville travels.

At your service,
David

We have been here before & we will be back. It is in a good location. The staff are very friendly & responsive to requests. They serve supper Mon - Wed. The breakfast is pretty good as well with all the usuals + hot items. It is right beside I-40/75 so if you want a quiet room ask for one overlooking the pool or courtyard.

Thank you for your very nice review of the hotel. It's always nice to get a review from a second stay, months later, that shows we are consistent in our service and product. I appreciate your taking the time to let our potential guests know what is great about our Residence Inn. Again, my thanks!

We spent 5 nights in this.hotel. Traffic noise from interstate is a problem. The hotel is not adequately sound proofed. I heard conversations and TV from adjacent room. Alarms from in room.smoke detectors went.off almost every day, some days multiple times and once woke us in the middle of the night. In comparison to other Residence Inn properties, I rate this poor. However, hotel is clean, bed is comfortable and breakfast is standard. Personally, I will not stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for us. As with most interstate located hotels, the twenty or so hotels in our area are all challenged with the occassional high traffic on I-40. We have some buffering provided by the flora between the hotel and the interstate but we do hear the occassional concern raised by lighter sleepers.

As much as possible, if we know someone is a light sleeper, we will try to locate them away from the interstate. If you happen to come our way again, please let me know and I will make sure that happens for you!

While the hotel is beautifully decorated and comfortable, the room's prior guests must have cooked a lot of food in their room. When we called the front desk to complain about the smell, a hotel employee came up with a spray bottle that supposedly was an odor eliminator, but it did nothing. He left the bottle, which we used many times each day of our stay, but it did nothing, and the hotel wasn't concerned about our situation.

Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback. Although I cannot determine your name or room number from your posting, I can guess which room you occupied. Being an extended stay hotel, we often deal with cooking odors and are usually successful at treating them. In your case, I believe you may have occupied a room that was home for several weeks to a party who enjoyed frying fish. We treated the room several times before returning to inventory but evidently, that was not enough. We have since completed a thorough deep clean, including washing down all walls.

My apologies for not having this under control beforehand. Again, thanks for letting us know.

My parents and have had many stays at this Residence inn over the past year as my sister, who lived in Knoxville, was dying. The staff went above and beyond in asking how we were doing, if there was anything they could do, etc., even placing flowers in my parents room with personal condolences when she died. The facilities were so nice, clean, and we were made to feel at home. thank you!

Room Tip: Many restaurants in the area. Also shopping with a nice variety of stores. Staff also had great sug...
